Candice Michelle came out to the ring, and announced that The Great American Bash would be aired on the Armed Forces network for U.S. Troops. Melina interrupted, coming to the ring alone (well, except for the paparazzi). Melina took the mic and said that she heard that Candice was going to be the referee for the match between Melina and Torrie at the Bash. Melina told Candice that her fifteen minutes of fame were up, and her Superbowl commercial was “so last year”. Melina said she was the “most dominant female” in WWE, and that she was going to strip Torrie to her “nasty bra and panties” at the Bash. Melina then said she was going to hold a “demonstration” and knocked down Candice. Melina hit a forearm and then stripped Candice down to her bra and panties. Torrie ran in for the save, giving Melina a clothesline and kicking her to the floor.

DURING KURT ANGLE VS. DAIVARI…
Mark Henry and Melina come down to ringside, and eventually the match breaks loose, with Melina trying to attack Angle. Angle simply flips Melina over and gets her in the ankle lock, holding her in it until Henry breaks it. Henry beats him down as Melina and Daivari shake hands, and Melina limps backstage, letting Daivari take over Henry’s managerial duties.

September 25th, 2006 RAW - Johnny Nitro (w/ Melina) vs. Kane

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH - JOHNNY NITRO (C) (W/ MELINA) VS. KANE
Kane interrupted Nitro’s entrance and tossed Johnny out of the ring. With his coat still on, Nitro got pounded and side walked slammed, as Kane got his offense going early. Melina tried to get involved, allowing Nitro to hit a chop block on Kane. Meanwhile, JR let us know that Umaga was banned from ringside. Kane came back and tossed Johnny out of the ring. Nitro immediately got up and tried a high risk off the top rope, but Kane caught him with a big boot. The Big Red Machine tried to capitalize, but Umaga came into the ring and smacked him on the back with a chair. The assault continued until Umaga decided to use the ring steps and the announce table in a vicious combination. He didn’t end up using the announce table, but he did clock Kane over the head with the ring steps.

MNM (W/ MELINA) VS. THE HARDYZ
The “Hardy” chants got going before the match started. Matt started against Joey Mercury. A lock-up got the match underway. Neither man could gain an advantage. Matt took Mercury down with a headlock takeover. Back on their feet, Hardy knocked Joey down with a shoulder tackle. He then connected with an armdrag. Mercury prevented any further offense with a double boot to the chin. Both teams got in the ring and had a stare down, as the crowd got behind the Hardys once again. Mercury grabbed an armbar, but Hardy reversed and grabbed one of his own before tossing Mercury shoulder-first into the ring post. Jeff tagged in and flipped Mercury over onto his back with an armbar take down. Matt tagged back in and continued to work over Joey’s arm. Joey escaped and tagged Nitro, but Matt took Johnny down with a monkey toss.
LATER IN THE MATCH…
Jeff tagged back in and the two tried for their neckbreaker-top rope powerbomb combo, but Mercury got Matt out of the way, allowing Nitro to take Jeff back to the mat with a super hurricanrana. The Hardys eventually connected on simultaneous superplexes. Melina got on the apron to prevent them from making counters. She tried to slap Jeff when he tried to address the situation, but Nitro went for a dropkick from behind. Unfortunately for Melina, he missed and hit her. Jeff tried for a roll-up, but Nitro kicked out. MNM then hit the Snap Shot on Jeff, but Matt came from out of nowhere to break up the pin! They got Matt out of the ring and tried for a Snap Shot off the top rope, but Matt again spoiled the plan and hit them with a double Twist of Fate off the top rope. Jeff then connected on a double Swanton Bomb. 1…2…3!

February 15th, 2007 RAW - Nitro & Melina vs. Super Crazy & Mickie

JOHNNY NITRO & MELINA VS. SUPER CRAZY & MICKIE JAMES
The ladies tried to get it on before the match even started. Once the match started, it was Crazy locking up with Nitro. As Melina pulled Mickie’s legs and caused her to smash her face into the apron, Nitro gained momentum over Crazy with a hangman over the top rope. Nitro scored a near fall after shoving Crazy into Mickie as she climbed back to the apron. Melina tried to fight Crazy, but Mickie came in and cleaned her clock. Eventually, Mickie and Crazy used a double baseball slide to completely gain control over the heel duo. The finish came when Nitro pushed Crazy into the ring post on the outside, while Melina countered Mickie’s offense and pinned her following a hair pull into a neckbreaker over knee.
WINNERS - JOHNNY NITRO & MELINALATER
Backstage, Melina wondered who was more important than her, as she gets a Women’s title match next week.
