#5: Melina debuts her jaw-dropping finisher on arch rival Mickie James. (Melina/Jillian vs. Mickie/Candice - June 18th, 2007 RAW) Melina, always the innovative one, decided to bust out a new finisher on her fiercest rival, Mickie James. She used her new and as-of-yet-unamed “inverted leg drop bulldog w/ split-legged pin” to secure the win and gain an impressive victory. [ 295 stills • video: download - watch ]
#4: Melina defeats Trish Stratus. (Melina vs. Trish Stratus- July 10th, 2006 RAW) Defeating the “Diva of the Decade” is no easy task, espcially when you factor in that Melina was much less experienced in 2006. Despite the large gap in ring experience, Melina managed to defeat Trish cleanly (well, as clean as Melina gets, anyways). [ 319 stills • video: download - watch ]
#3: Melina wins an all-Diva Battle Royal. (Interpromotional Diva Battle Royal - November 14th, 2005 RAW) These days, a battle royal would be a walk in the park for Melina. But back in 2005, she faced a daunting task in surviving the likes of Trish Stratus, Victoria, Mickie James, and Jillian Hall, all of whom had more ring experience than her. It came down to Melina and the Trish Stratus. Melina managed to outsmart the Champ, knocking her out of the ring and managing to impress her in the process. [ 204 stills • video: download - watch ]
#2: Melina defeats Mickie James in the first ever Divas “Falls Count Anywhere” match. (Melina vs. Mickie James - March 5th, 2007 RAW) In a historical and rigorous match that led the two spiteful Divas out of the ring, backstage, and back again, Melina used her wit to get her out of sticky situations. This seemed to give her the edge over rival Mickie James, and she walked out of the match unscathed - something Mickie definitely couldn’t claim. [ 307 stills • video: download - watch ]
#1: Melina defeats Mickie James to win her first Women’s Championship. (Melina vs. Mickie James - February 19th, 2007 RAW) After many unsucessful attempts, Melina managed to snag the Women’s Title from champ Mickie James in a thrilling match, proving without a shafow of a doubt that she was a serious in-ring competitor.
