Mini-MNM Reunion at Last Night’s OVW Tapings |
In a surprise treat for the OVW fans, MNM had a mini-reunion of sorts at last night’s TV tapings. The following took place off cameras in a dark match after the show, but it’s incredible to hear about nonetheless!:
First off, after TV and intermission was over, out came Chris Cage. Cage is without question the #1 heel in OVW right now, and he proved why again as he came out griping, whining etc about his veteran status. That brought out Elijah Burke, who proceeded to rip Cage to shreds in the ring. Humiliated, Cage left the ring and out came Joey Matthews and Von Lilus. Joey got in Elijah’s face, but Elijah tore in to Joey, almost causing an altercation. However, Elijah then introduced JOHN MORRISON, who came out, and proceeded to tear the house down with Joey. This match probably went a good 20 minutes, and is the best match I’ve seen Morrison have since… I can’t remember. Anyways, Morrison kicked the ref, knocking him out, which brought out another ref, who Joey gave a stiff looking forearm to after Morrison kicked out, which brought out Von Lilus to interfere with a chair.THEN it gets interesting. As Lilus is getting ready to hit Morrison, out comes MELINA!!! She ballshots Lilus and Morrison hits his finish for the win. All the babyfaces come out and celebrate, as Morrison/Melina praise OVW.

“M-P.org Kodak Moment” - March 19th, 2005 OVW |

interview: 84 stills • video: download - watch
match: 90 stills • video: download - watch
In this week’s Kodak Moment, we take a look at the March 26th, 2005 edition of OVW TV and an untelevised segment from the same week:
The Hollywood Jet Set, the Beautiful People, the Uncrowned Champs - also known as M-N-M - came out to the ring to tell Jim Cornette that the Thrillseekers were afraid of them and won’t give M-N-M a chance at the tag-team belts. They, on the other hand, wanted to give The Thrillseekers to the count of ten to prove they were men by coming out to face them. Melina counted off the numbers, but at the count of ten the Thrillseekers did not show.
Just as M-N-M felt smug in their actions, Johnny Jeter and Matt Cappotelli did come out and grabbed a microphone from Dean at the desk. Matt told M-N-M that they didn’t come out before because they had figured no one in M-N-M could count that high. The Thrillseekers announced that they would give M-N-M a title shot next week, with the stipulation that the “Hollywood Ho” Melina be kept out of the way by being handcuffed to a post. M-N-M agree, although not thrilled with the idea. So next week will see The Thrillseekers vs. M-N-M; or, rather, M-N. Will the stipulation help The Thrillseekers out? Only time will tell.
LATER
UNTELEVISED MATCH - MNM (W/ MELINA) & LANCE STORM VS. THE DUDLEYZ & TOMMY DREAMER Things started off with Tommy Dreamer coming to the ring to make a major announcement. He mentioned that he now worked behind-the-scenes for WWE, looking to OVW for the next Rock or Stone Cold and pointing out how many OVW stars had become big stars in WWE as well. However, just as he was about to make his big announcement, M-N-M hit the arena with their full red carpet treatment. Continue…

“M-P.org Kodak Moment” - March 19th, 2005 OVW |

In this week’s Kodak Moment, we take a look at the March 19th, 2005 edition of OVW TV:
MNM (W/ MELINA) & THE BLONDE BOMBERS VS. THE THRILLSEEKERS & THE HEARTBREAKERS (W/ MO GREEN)
The Blonde Bombers were the first out for this eight-men/four tag-teams match. They eyed the crowd and made some comments to each other as M-N-M took their usual grand time in coming to the ring. Then again, they have new fur coats to show off, so it is understandable. The Thrillseekers were next, with Jeter and Capotelli bowing to the crowd before asking for their silence in preparation for the thrill that comes with the appearance of the Heartbreakers.
The Heartbreakers arrived, dressed in green for St. Patrick’s Day, running over to the announcers’ desk to wrap leis of green clover around the necks of Dean and Jim before joining the Thrillseekers in an attack on the Blonde Bombers and M-N-M who were in the ring. Matthews and Nitro went flying out, leaving the Heartbreakers and the Thrillseekers to double-team on the Blonde Bombers, and flipping them on their backs. The Blonde Bombers bounced out, leaving the Heartbreakers enough time to do their ritual handslapping, pelvis-grooving dance. Starting the match proper were Matt Capotelli and Joey Matthews. A beatdown of Matt led him into Matthews’ corner, whereupon Matthews distracted Brisko long enough to allow Nitro and Tank to repeatedly kick Matt in the stomach while Chad held him up in the corner. Matthews returned to Matt, only to get a punch by Capotelli. With Matthews recovering, Matt threw an elbow at Nitro’s and Chad’s faces, knocking them off the apron. A similar attack on Tank was avoided, however, and Tank held Matt in place for Matthews. Matt managed to wiggle out of the way at the last second, however, forcing Matthews to plow into Tank and sending Tank off the apron as well. Continue…

“M-P.org Kodak Moment” - March 5th, 2005 OVW |

In this week’s Kodak Moment, we take a look at the March 5th, 2005 edition of OVW TV:
After the wild breakout fight between M-N-M and The Heartbreakers last week, Jim Cornette asked M-N-M - after a typically and lengthy ceremonial introduction of the trio to the ring - what they had to say about the incident. After much pandering to their own self-image, it was finally stated to the viewers that M-N-M blamed Mo’ Green, The Heartbreakers’ manager, for denying them the Tag Team Titles thanks to his interference in their match against the Thrillseekers two weeks prior.
At this time M-N-M had two non-negotiable demands: one is that they have a match with the Heartbreakers in order to humiliate and destroy them for good, and the other is for a rematch against the Thrillseekers for the Titles. After pressing Cornette to meet their demands, Melina gave out a general warning that the next time “that little dwarf” Green lays a hand on her, she will claw his eyes out. Continue…

“M-P.org Kodak Moment” - February 26th, 2005 OVW |

90 stills • video: download - watch
In this week’s Kodak Moment, we take a look at the February 26th, 2005 edition of OVW TV:
AFTER THE HEARTBREAKERS VS. BAM BAM & CLIFF COMPTON The Heartbreakers’ victory was short-lived, however, as M-N-M ventured out to the ring with their photographers, sign-carriers, and - of course - the red-carpet treatment. Sure, they have production value, but do they have kids imitating them at ringside like the Heartbreakers do?
They request Jim Cornette to come out to the ring in order to list two demands. The first is that they want Cornette to schedule a rematch between them and the Thrillseekers. Second, they want the Heartbreakers to leave quickly so as not to be destroyed when they “kick Green’s ass.” While M-N-M has no problem with the Heartbreakers, the Heartbreakers have a problem with M-N-M, stating that to get to Green, they would have to get through the Heartbreakers, and “you can’t beat this meat!”
The two groups fight, leading to Mo’ spearing Melina and holding on to her legs, while Matthews and Nitro attempt to drag her out. After a tug-of-war, M-N-M finally make a break and leave, leading to the Heartbreakers telling Cornette that they will prove to everyone in OVW that they deserve a shot at the tag-team title. More so, M-N-M better not try to touch Green again, or else they’ll be left “heartbroken.”

2/22/08 Friday Free For All |

This will be a massive Free-For-All today, but expect smaller ones from now on, as we’ve gotten through the bulk of the requests. Rule of thumb: do not request numerous things - it takes a long time to put this together, and we can’t go searching for every little thing. Also, do not request things in the comments of posts. E-MAIL THEM. If they are submitted anywhere else they will be ignored and deleted. That said, enjoy today’s Free-For-All!

“M-P.org Kodak Moment” - February 12th & 19th, 2005 OVW |
Due to missing last week’s Kodak Moment, we have 2 flashbacks today!

135 stills • video: (part 1) download - watch • video: (part 2) download - watch
On the February 12th, 2005 edition of OVW TV, MNM took on the Dudley Boyz. In order to win their OVW Tag Team Title shot from the Thrillseekers, MNM had to defeat Bubba and Devon. Despite the immense pressure and competition, MNM managed to defeat the Dudleyz. However, at the end of the night, MNM were the ones laid out, with both Nitro and Matthews smashed through tables and Melina knocked out through an accidental run-in with Matthews.

On the February 12th, 2005 edition of OVW TV, MNM finally had their OVW Southern Tag Team Title match, taking on the Thrillseekers. After a long, back-and-forth match, Melina looked to gain an advantage for her team, grabbing a steel chair from underneath the ring. Mo Green, manager of MNM’s rivals the Heartbreakers, took acception to this. He grabbed the chair, and a tug-of-war between Melina and Green commenced, ending with Green winning. The momentum sent the chair smashing into Matthews’s skull, leading to an easy win for the Thrillseekers.
