MELINA VS. BETH PHOENIX - “I QUIT” MATCH
As Phoenix entered, they replayed her impressive backbreaker on Melina and Mickie James from Judgment Day. As Melina entered, one of the paparazzi photographers fell down on his rear end. Melina patted him on the back, then they replayed him falling down again. Phoenix backed up Melina against the ropes and trash talked her. Melina shoved her and kicked her, then put Phoenix in a guillotine choke. Phoenix lifted her up whoile in the hold, and Melina kneed her in the face. Melina went for a bodypress, but Phoenix caught it and hit a backbreaker, then a second, holding her over the knee. Melina kneed out of it, but Phoenix pushed her in a corner and hit some shots. Melina fired back, and drove Phoenix face first into the mat from the second rope. Melina applied a Mutalock, but Phoenix wouldn’t submit. She struggled her way to the ropes for a break, and they both fell to the floor. Melina tossed Phoenix back in, but Phoenix picked her up and threw her in a corner. Phoenix stomped her, then stretcher her between the ropes. Phoenix applied the over the shoulder backbreaker, and jumped up and down with it. Melina tried to elbow out of it, and Phoenix ended up slamming her down.
Phoenix applied an armbar, then threw Melina to the mat by her hair. Phoenix told the referee to ask her, but Melina refused to submit. Phoenix threw her down again by the hair, but Melina fought back with forearms. Phoenix went for a whip in the corner, and Melina tried a headscissors, but Beth caught it. She went to pull Melina away from the ropes by her legs, but Melina turned it into a victory roll that sent Phoenix between the ropes and into the ringpost, shoulder first. Melina twisted Phoenix’ now injured arm in the ropes and yanked on it. Melina hit a cross armbreaker, then did a tilt-a-whirl into a Fujiwara armbar, then transitioned into a jujigatame. Phoenix stood up and lifted Melina while in the hold, and powerbombed her to the mat. Phoenix hit a facebuster, then applied a surfboard variation, that was sort of like a double chicken wing with the legs trapped on the mat. Phoenix then hooked Melina’s chin as well, and bent her backwards to the point that Melina’s head was touching the bottom of her feet. Melina finally submitted at the fourteen minute mark.
WINNER - BETH PHOENIX

Melina vs. Beth in an “I Quit ” Match This Sunday |
As announced tonight on RAW, Melina will be taking on Beth Phoenix in an “I Quit” match at this Sunday’s One Night Stand PPV. WWE.com has more info:
Though Beth Phoenix and Melina were once allies, things have taken a wrong turn in the pair’s relationship. Both women have felt betrayed by the other’s actions, and plan on settling things this Sunday night at One Night Stand. It won’t be as simple as one woman pinning the other however, as this is an “I Quit” Match, in which one Diva must force the other to speak those dreaded words into a microphone in front of a pay-per-view audience. WOMEN’S TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH - MICKIE JAMES VS. MELINA VS. BETH PHOENIX
As Phoenix came to the ring, they recapped how she beat the crap out of Melina backstage last week. Melina did her usual entrance, but was glaring at Beth Phoenix the whole time. At the bell, Beth held open the ropes and told Melina she didn’t belong in “her ring”. Melina responded by kicking Phoenix out of the ring. Mickie rolled up Melina for a two count. Mickie bounced off the ropes, but Phoenix held them open and mickie fell to the floor. Phoenix nailed her with a lariat. In the ring, Melina hit Phoenix with right hands, and Phoenix lifted her up, but Melina kept punching her down. Phoenix kicked Melina and went to lift her up, but Mickie hooked her from behind for a sunset flip for two. They went into sequences where one wrestler would get an advantage over another, but the third would come in and break up a cover or hold. Mickie hit Phoenix with a top rope Thesz press, then a dropkick for a two count. Melina grabbed her and stretched Mickie over the top rope in a corner, but Phoenix went over and lifted Melina and Mickie James into an over the shoulder backbreaker. She had both women, over the same shoulder, and was walking in the ring with them, it was incredible. They finally crumbled to the mat, then Phoenix picked up Mickie in a choke. Melina came up behind Phoenix and hit a neckbreaker. Phoenix rolled to the floor, and Mickie James hit Melina with a DDT for the pin at the five minute mark.

New Match added to Judgment Day |
According to WWE.com, Mickie James will be defending her Womens’ Title against both Beth Phoenix and Melina at this Sunday’s Judgment Day PPV:
“As first learned in a Joey Styles Exclusive video on WWE.com, Women’s Champion Mickie James will defend her title against both Beth Phoenix and Melina in a Triple Threat Match at Judgment Day. Melina and The Glamazon have been after Mickie’s title since she earned it when she pinned Beth on Raw. Neither one has found a way to stop the Women’s Champion, though. In fact, their common desire to hold the Divas’ top prize has caused a lack of success on their part.
One week prior to the night the match was made, Melina allegedly accidentally hit Beth with a boot. Tensions between the two Divas only escalated afterward, as The Glamazon abandoned Melina when they teamed up to take on Mickie & Maria on Raw. The ensuing confrontation in the locker room led to an all-out brawl that required three people to break it up.
Beth and Melina have not been able to work together toward a common goal, to date. It’s clear that it will be every Diva for herself when Mickie aims to continue her recent run of success and retain her gold at Judgment Day.”
WWE.com has also posted an exclusive video interview with Beth, which you can view by clicking here.

BETH PHOENIX, MELINA, JILLIAN HALL, LAYLA, VICTORIA, & NATALYA VS. MICKIE JAMES, MARIA, ASHLEY MASSARO, MICHELLE MCCOOL, KELLY KELLY, & CHERRY Phoenix and McCool started out. McCool hit a dropkick and went for a belly to belly suplex, but Phoenix hit a knee to the gut but missed a charge. McCool hit some shots, but Phoenix powerslammed her. Melina tagged in and threw McCool face first into the mat, then applied a bridging chinlock. Melina hit a sunset flip, but McCool rolled through it and hit a dropkick. Mickie James tagged in and traded shots with Melina. James hit a flying headscissors and a clothesline. Natalya tagged in, but Mickie got the better of the exchange at first, only for Natalya to deck her and knock Cherry off the apron as well. Victoria came in and missed her standing moonsault on Mickie in the ring. Meanwhile, Cherry walked around the ring and pulled Natalya off the apron, leading to a brief brawl on the outside. Things settled down, and we had Ashley giving Jillian a slow motion rana. Phoenix kicked Ashley from the apron, then tagged in and worked her over with a cobra clutch. Phoenix used a double chicken wing, but Ashley rolled out of it, kicking Layla, who was running in, as she did so. Mickie was hit by Phoenix, and Mickie ran in and gave her a DDT. We then went into a sequence of every woman running in and giving her finisher to someone else, who would then roll to the floor. It ended with Phoenix getting back in and giving Ashley a fisherwoman’s suplex for the pin.
WINNERS - BETH PHOENIX, MELINA, JILLIAN HALL, LAYLA, VICTORIA, & NATALYA

12-Diva Tag Match at Backlash |
WWE.com has announced a massive match for this Sunday’s Backlash. Divas from RAW, SmackDown, and ECW will compete in a 12-Diva tag match. WWE.com has the details:
“At Backlash, the WWE Diva divide comes to a head as new Women’s Champion Mickie James captains a team of the Sexiest Women on Television against former titleholder Beth Phoenix and her squad of sultry competitors.
Just more than one week ago, Mickie scored one of the biggest victories of her career against The Glamazon, ending Phoenix’s lengthy reign as Women’s Champion. But before she could celebrate, Mickie found herself confronted by the former champion, who argued that the loss was nothing more than a fluke, a slap in the face to The Glamazon. Then, in front of a ring full of Divas, SmackDown’s Michelle McCool used an open palm to show Beth the true meaning of such a slap.
The ensuing all-out melee ultimately ended with the fan favorite femme fatales standing together, united against the oppressively dominant Glamazon and her group of WWE’s more nefarious women. Now, this collision will continue inside the ring in a much more official capacity on Sunday at Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena.
Which team will prevail as Mickie, Maria, Ashley, Michelle, Cherry & Kelly Kelly face The Glamazon, Melina, Jillian, Layla, Victoria & Natalya? Tune in this Sunday on pay-per-view to catch the spicy Diva action at Backlash.”
