As announced tonight on RAW, Melina will be taking on Beth Phoenix in an “I Quit” match at this Sunday’s One Night Stand PPV. WWE.com has more info:
The two’s rivalry began about a month ago, when Melina caused Beth Phoenix to lose her Women’s Championship match against Mickie James by accidentally hitting Phoenix with her boot. Unfortunately for Melina, The Glamazon isn’t known for her forgiving nature, but rather her raw power and ferocity. To no one’s surprise, the following weeks saw Beth retaliating against Melina, smashing her repeatedly into a set of steel lockers, and brutalizing her after a match with Jillian.
Both women are known for their in-ring ability, but it’s their pride that will come into play this weekend at One Night Stand. Beth Phoenix has been one of the most dominant Divas in WWE history, can Melina force her to say “I Quit”? When it could irreparably damage not only their ego, but also their career, which of these Divas will be the first to concede?

What a great submission move Melina used on Jillian Hall on Raw!! I haven’t seen that particular version of the Inverted Indian Deathlock since the Great Muta used it on Lex Luger at Starrcade 1989…Harley Race also would use it from time to time!! I think Melina is the greatest lady wrestler ever and she really dug out a great submission hold!! I think Beth Phoenix will say “I Quit” with this hold applied to her at One Night Stand and Melina will be victorious!

I`m currently in the process of closing a gap i`ve opened as far as watcing WWE shows goes, but this is something I can`t resist commenting about (couldn`t stand the curiousity).
First of i`m happy to see Melina involved in a new feud, especially when it involves a great wrestler like beth, now that`s a feud i`ve been looking forward to.
Having an “I Quit” match between both of them is odd, considering the fact they`re not using submission holds as their finishers, but nevertheless the match on JD is highly anticipated and should be great.
And even if Melina loses on JD, which wouldn`t be a surprise since Beth is a powerful and impressive wrestler, I hope that Melina will show what she`s worth and earn the respect of the fans.

Melina started with a reverse chokehold but beth didnt quit
then beth started dominating for a while then melina applied the move that she got jillian to submit too on RAW last week but beth got our the Melina started working on beths shoulder and took over for awhile and after an armbar take down melina had beth on the ropes of quiting but beth got out did her glama-slam and her surfboard submission move and got the win =(
